NOTES

To facilitate the participation of members of the Club, the option is kept open for E-voting in addition to physical voting in the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022-23.

AGM will be transacted through e-voting (facility to cast vote prior to the AGM) and also physical voting through ballots during the AGM, for which purpose the Executive Committee of the Club have engaged the services of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL). The Executive Committee has appointed Mr. Sauvik Nandy, Advocate at Calcutta High Court, and Mr. Ashis Roy, Advocate at Calcutta High Court as the Scrutinizer for this purpose.

Instructions for casting votes through e-voting for members who have registered with the club to participate.

1. Where a Member receives an e-mail from NSDL [for Members whose e-mail Ids are registered with the Club]:

   1. Open e-mail and open attached PDF file viz.: “LakeClub_e-voting.pdf” with your Membership Number as Password. The said PDF file contains your User Id and Password for remote e-voting;
   2. Launch internet browser by typing the following URL : https://www.evoting.nsdl.com;
   3. Click on “Shareholder / Member – Login”.
   4. Put User Id and select Login Type as -PASSWORD, type verification code and put Password as noted in step (i) above. Click “Login”;
   5. Alternatively, Members can also select Login Type as - OTP (if mobile no. is registered with the club), type verification code and Click “Login” by using the OTP received on the mobile no.
   6. Home page of remote e-voting opens. Click on remote e-voting: “Active Voting Cycles”;
   7. Select “EVEN‟ of The Lake Club Limited.
   8. Now you are ready for remote e-voting as “Cast Vote” page opens;
   9. You will have to either select the candidates or say YES / NO against each of the resolution. Cast your vote by selecting appropriate option / candidate and click on “Submit” and then “Confirm” when prompted;
   10. Once it is clicked, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and e-mail id of the member and this OTP number will be valid for five minutes during which it needs to be submitted.
   11. In the unlikely event of any mistake in submitting the OTP only one more opportunity will be given which the member can avail by pressing the re-generate OTP option.
   12. Upon confirmation, the message “Vote cast successfully” will be displayed;
   13. Once you have voted on a Resolution, you will not be allowed to modify your vote.

   The e-voting procedure will commence from 9.00 a.m. on Sunday, September 17th, 2023 and end at 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20th, 2023.

   Kindly note that no member can cast their votes in both Electronic and Physical Ballot. Any member who has cast the vote through e-voting system will not be allowed to vote physically at the venue.
